Job summary

Driscoll Children’s Hospital is seeking an Epic Pharmacy Informatics Specialist to join the Epic Applications team in Corpus Christi. The role focuses on configuring, testing, and maintaining Epic Willow to support safe medication management across the health system.

Pharmacists with Epic experience are welcomed, including those transitioning into informatics. Preference for candidates with hospital pharmacy background and PGY-2 residency training.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Current licensure as a Pharmacist by a State Board of Pharmacy.
• Inpatient/hospital pharmacy experience or clinical rotations in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, test, and maintain Epic Willow applications for Inpatient, Ambulatory, and Inventory.
• Configure medication records, order settings, and other pharmacy-related functionality within Epic Willow.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and identify opportunities to improve system functionality and workflows.
• Test and validate system changes, upgrades, and new functionality to ensure accuracy and patient safety.
• Collaborate with Pharmacy Operations to review system needs and workflow improvements.
• Work with Epic application analysts, IT teams, and other departments to support system integration and optimization.
• Maintain documentation of system configurations, updates, and changes.
• Oversee development and maintenance of the Pharmacy CDM.
