Job summary

OCHIN, Inc. is a 100% remote organization offering a Manager, EHR Billing Maintenance role within the Operations department.

This position leads the PB/Claims and HB/Claims Analyst teams, overseeing Epic platform maintenance, staff deliverables, SLA compliance, and risk management across the organization and its member sites. The role requires Supervisory experience, Epic Resolute expertise, and strong leadership, communication, and customer-service skills.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressively professional experience in business service area, in a healthcare and/or IT setting required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience or leadership roles required. Experience managing Epic Resolute Applications Analysts is also highly desired.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, healthcare, health informatics, related field, or equivalent experience; master’s degree preferred.
• Certification in at least one of the following applications is required (more than one is preferred): Resolute PB, Resolute HB, PB Claims, HB Claims, SBO.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience as an Epic Resolute Applications Analyst, with experience in Epic build.
• Experience working with Epic in both inpatient and outpatient settings preferred.
• A keen sense of excellent customer service and how to deliver it effectively in all situations.
• Strong leadership skills, in support of the organization’s needs
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Proficiency in Smartsheet or similar project management system preferred
• Ability to travel based on member's needs

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple staff members through recruitment, training, development, and performance coaching.
• Coordinate team objectives, resourcing, tasks and projects, organizing the team’s tasks and projects and tracking productivity.
• Ensure goals are aligned with OCHIN strategic direction and that projects align with organizational goals.
• Ensure staff adhere to standards, including policies and SLAs, with clear status reporting processes.
• Proactively analyze portfolio for risks and issues and recommend prevention and mitigation steps.
• Design, maintain, and optimize team SOPs, templates, and tools.
• Build and maintain relationships with members and staff at all levels.
• Attend regular committee meetings to drive systems thinking and operational excellence.
• Safeguard IP and confidentiality, including disaster recovery measures.
