Job summary

Grady Health System in Atlanta seeks a Sr. Application Analyst responsible for design, build, test, validation, and ongoing support of Epic MyChart applications within Digital Engagement Solutions.

They will gain in-depth knowledge of application functionality and operational workflows to design future-state processes. Key duties include obtaining Epic certification, providing on-site Go-live support, documenting procedures, and delivering training to IT staff and users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level degree in information systems, computer science, business administration, or related field preferred.
• Strong experience with Epic Hospital Billing build/configuration/workflows.
• With Bachelor's: 4+ years in IT or healthcare; with Associate's or two years: 6+ years.
• Epic MyChart certification.

Responsibilities

• Obtains and maintains Epic certification for assigned module; provides function, design, and build expertise for implementation.
• Provides on-site Go-live support as needed during downtime events.
• Designs and builds future-state workflows by analyzing business/operational needs with department reps.
• Produces status reports to Lead Analyst/PM/IT leadership and coordinates team meetings.
• Develops and maintains documentation and procedures; provides training to IT staff and user clients.
