Job summary

Children’s Mercy in Kansas City, MO seeks a Lead IT Systems Application Analyst - Epic to lead the design, development, implementation and maintenance of complex enterprise applications. Lead Analyst works closely with other IT team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues, develop system documentation, provide end-user support, and manage upgrades and enhancements.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree with 3–5 years in user areas or related fields, leadership preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree with 5–7 years in user areas or related fields, leadership preferred.
• Associate's Degree with 7+ years in user areas or related fields, leadership preferred.
• HS diploma or equivalent with 9 years' experience in user areas or related fields, leadership preferred.
• At least one Epic certification relevant to the department required within 120 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex computer information systems, including configurations and database structures.
• Provide end-user support, troubleshoot issues, and train users across multiple application areas.
• Lead cross-functional teams in requirements, design, development and implementation of new systems including Epic.
• Manage relationships with vendors and external partners ensuring quality delivery.
• Mentor and train junior team members and lead with strong communication and leadership skills.
