Children’s Mercy in Kansas City is seeking a Lead IT Systems Application Analyst - Epic to design, implement, and maintain enterprise applications. You will lead projects, manage system upgrades, and mentor teammates while collaborating across business areas to meet needs.

Ideal candidates bring Epic certification, strong communication, and a track record of project leadership within healthcare IT environments. Extensive experience with Epic and system integration is valued.

Qualifications

Master's Degree and 3–5 years experience in the user areas to be supported or related fields; leadership experience preferred.
Bachelor's Degree and 5–7 years experience in the user areas to be supported or related fields; leadership experience preferred.
Associate's Degree and 7+ years experience in the user areas to be supported or related fields; leadership experience preferred.
HS diploma or equivalent and 9 years' experience in the user areas to be supported or related fields; leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Leads the design and development of complex computer information systems, including system configurations, software programs, database structures, and network infrastructure.
Provides end-user support by responding to service desk requests and resolving technical issues; trains end-users.
Leads cross-functional teams in requirements, design, development and implementation of new systems including Epic and related systems.
Manages relationships with vendors and external partners, ensuring they deliver quality products and services; negotiates effectively.
Mentors and trains junior team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
