Job summary

Children’s Mercy is seeking a Lead IT Systems Application Analyst - Epic to design, implement, and maintain enterprise applications including Epic and related systems. You will lead projects, mentor team members, and collaborate with multiple business areas to deliver solutions that meet clinical and operational needs.

The role is remote or work-from-home, with preference for candidates in the Kansas City metro area; starting pay is market-competitive and based on education and experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with 3-5 years in the user areas supported, leadership preferred.
• Epic certification required within 120 days of hire; training if not certified.
• At least one Epic certification relevant to the department.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of complex computer information systems and configurations.
• Provide end-user support, troubleshoot, and train users; maintain documentation.
• Lead cross-functional teams on requirements, design, and implementation including Epic.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure quality delivery by partners.
• Mentor and train junior team members; demonstrate strong communication.
