Job summary

Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City seeks a Lead IT Systems Applications Analyst for Epic Cadence and Prelude. This full-time role operates Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, reporting to the IT organization.

You will guide design, development, implementation, and maintenance of complex enterprise Epic systems, collaborate across IT and clinical teams, and mentor junior staff while managing vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field with leadership experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 5–7 years of experience preferred.
• Associates degree with 7+ years of experience preferred or equivalent.
• HS diploma or equivalent with 9+ years of experience preferred.
• At least one Epic certification relevant to the department required within 120 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Leads design and development of complex computer information systems, including configurations, software, databases, and network infrastructure.
• Provides end-user support and resolves technical issues; trains end-users and collaborates with system users across areas.
• Leads cross-functional teams for requirements, design, development, and implementation of Epic and related systems.
• Manages relationships with vendors and external partners, ensuring delivery of quality products and services.
• Mentors and trains junior team members; demonstrates strong communication and leadership.
