Job summary

Children’s Mercy in Kansas City is seeking a Lead IT Systems Application Analyst-Epic to design, implement, and maintain complex enterprise applications. The role leads projects, trends upgrades, and collaborates with IT teams to deliver solutions that meet business needs.

The ideal candidate holds Epic-Beaker certification and Haemonetics SafeTrace experience, plus proven leadership, vendor management, and mentoring skills.

Qualifications

• Master's or equivalent with 3–5 years leading user areas
• Bachelor's with 5–7 years leadership experience preferred
• Associate's with 7+ years leadership experience preferred
• HS diploma with 9 years related experience and leadership preferred
• Epic certification within 120 days of hire; Epic certification training if not current

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of complex systems including configurations, databases and networks.
• Provide end-user support, troubleshoot issues, and train users effectively.
• Lead cross-functional teams for requirements, design, and implementation of new systems.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure quality of products and services.
• Mentor and train junior team members and demonstrate strong communication and leadership
