Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a Senior IT Specialty Analyst to support, optimize, and enhance Epic applications across Clinical, Revenue Cycle, and Access domains. The role requires strong Epic workflow knowledge, reporting tool proficiency, and programming skills in SQL/SSIS/R/Python to drive improvements and implement software releases.

The candidate will work with cross-functional teams, may lead small projects, and support additional Epic opportunities based on experience and certifications.

Qualifications

• Epic certification, accreditation, or proficiency in one or more applicable Epic applications required or preferred based on the position.
• Experience with Epic reporting tools, including Reporting Workbench, Radar dashboards, and SlicerDicer self-service reporting.
• Programming experience with SQL, SSIS, R, Python, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support, maintenance, optimization, and enhancement of Epic apps across Clinical, Revenue Cycle, and Access areas.
• Perform build/configuration, upgrades, workflow assessments, testing, troubleshooting, incident/change management and releases.
• Lead smaller projects or components and guide less-experienced teammates as needed.
