Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a Senior IT Specialty Analyst to support Epic applications across Clinical, Revenue Cycle, and Access. You will analyze business needs, configure and upgrade systems, and drive workflow improvements in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

You will work with cross-functional teams, perform testing, incident management, and may lead small projects. Epic certifications and experience with Cogito, Caboodle, Clarity, and related data models are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, 5+ years with a degree or 7+ years without a degree.
• Epic certification, accreditation, or proficiency required or preferred depending on position.
• Epic data analytics tools proficiency is required.
• Epic reporting tools experience including Reporting Workbench, Radar dashboards, and SlicerDicer.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support, maintenance, and optimization of Epic applications across clinical and revenue cycle areas.
• Lead configuration, upgrades, and software releases; perform workflow assessments and testing.
• Manage incidents and changes; guide less-experienced team members when needed.
