Job summary

Sentara Health seeks a Senior IT Specialty Analyst to support, optimize, and enhance Epic applications across Clinical, Revenue Cycle, and Access. You will lead builds, upgrades, testing, and change management while collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior staff.

The role requires Epic certification and strong analytics skills, with 7+ years in Epic reporting tools and programming experience in SQL, SSIS, R, or Python.

Qualifications

• Epic certification, accreditation, or proficiency in one or more applicable Epic applications required or preferred based on the specific position.
• Epic data analytics tools are Required: Cogito, Cogito Tools Administration, Caboodle Data Model, Clarity Data Model, Access Data Model, Revenue Data Model, Clinical Data Model.
• 7+ years of experience with Epic reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support, maintenance, optimization, and enhancement of Epic applications across Clinical, Revenue Cycle, and Access areas.
• Conduct upgrades, configurations, workflow assessments, testing, incident and change management, and software releases.
• Lead smaller projects or components of larger initiatives and mentor less-experienced team members.
