Job summary

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is seeking an Epic Clinical Applications Analyst (Senior or Level II) to join the Epic Inpatient team. The role supports inpatient clinical workflows through Epic optimization, configuration, maintenance, testing, and upgrades, collaborating with clinical stakeholders.

The analyst will act as a subject matter expert for Epic inpatient applications and contribute to efficient patient care through technology solutions and workflow enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Four or more years of experience in a comparable client-facing IT role.
• Experience with structured Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Exposure to healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and/or research environments preferred.
• Experience translating business requirements to technical/system requirements.
• Ability to work with mid- to senior-level business leaders.
• Collaborate effectively with mid- to senior-level business leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and engage with stakeholders and vendors to deliver solutions aligned with business plans.
• Partner with business stakeholders and IT peers to communicate strategic vision and initiatives.
• Oversee requirements management for operational requests within assigned departments.
• Lead education efforts related to IT strategy, services, and change management.
• Develop and implement IT change and communication plans across departments.
• Create business cases and project proposals from roadmaps and priorities.
• Present project materials and documentation to stakeholders.
• Assist with project management responsibilities as needed.
• Mentor team members and support training on established processes and best practices.
