Job summary

St. Jude is seeking an Epic Clinical Applications Analyst (Senior or Level II) to join the Clinical Applications Epic Inpatient Team. This role supports inpatient clinical workflows through Epic optimization, system configuration, application maintenance, testing, upgrades, issue resolution, and collaboration with operational and clinical stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Master's degree preferred.
Four or more years of experience in a comparable client-facing IT role.
Experience with structured SDLC methodologies.
Exposure to healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and/or research environments preferred.
Demonstrated history leading discussions and documenting requirements.
Experience translating business requirements to technical/system requirements.
Preferred Epic certifications: Epic Optime, Epic Anesthesia, additional Epic Clinical Certifications.

Responsibilities

Lead meetings with business teams to gather requirements and communicate solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders and IT peers to define strategy and initiatives.
Oversee requirements management and new operational demands.
Develop education plans around IT strategy, services, and change management.
Create project materials, proposals, and documentation for stakeholders.
Assist with project management tasks as needed.
Mentor team members and share best practices.
Maintain regular, predictable attendance.
