Job summary

HealthPartners is hiring an Application Analyst and Developer - Epic Inpatient. This role supports Epic Inpatient applications, focusing on provider order entry, clinical workflows, and system build activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, MIS, or equivalent.
• 3 years IT analysis, systems analysis, and technical design experience.
• 1 year developing, testing, and implementing enhancements.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Solid understanding of system architecture, integration concepts.
• Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
• Experience leading medium-sized projects and coordinating stakeholders.
• Knowledge of multiple system development methodologies.
• Willingness to participate in 24/7 on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, designs, builds, and deploys software and new functionality.
• Performs unit testing and supports end-to-end testing planning.
• Maintains testing environments and data requirements.
• Analyzes requirements and prepares system designs/specifications.
• Diagnoses failures and recommends corrective actions.
• Defines technical specs and discusses options with partners.
• Aids Business Partners in clarifying and prioritizing requests.
• Advocates standard processes and best practices.
• Provides training and mentoring to developers and analysts.
• Supports third-party software and coordinates with vendors.
