Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Epic EHR Development Lead to guide design, configuration, and optimization of Epic EHR solutions across clinical, operational, and revenue cycle domains. You will lead Epic teams, ensure regulatory and clinical workflow alignment, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable Epic solutions.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, governance, and partnership with informatics, IT leadership, and vendors to improve patient care and organizational performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, or related field.
7+ years of Epic EHR experience with hands-on build and configuration.
3+ years in a lead, senior analyst, or supervisory role for Epic systems.
Active Epic certification(s) in one or more Epic modules.
Certified in Ambulatory OR Healthy Planet OR Both.

Responsibilities

Lead Epic analysts, developers, and configuration teams.
Oversee Epic integration efforts (HL7, FHIR, APIs) and upgrades.
Define Epic development standards, guidelines, and governance.
Partner with clinical leadership and IT to align development with strategy.
Support go-lives, stabilization, and post-implementation optimization.
