Job summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking an Analyst to design, build, test, train, and support our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. The role focuses on optimizing Epic configurations to improve patient care and hospital operations, with little supervision and substantial independent judgment.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in a health informatics or related field, Epic certifications, and 4+ years deploying Epic EHR in a hospital setting, along with strong communication and organizational

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Informatics, Nursing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Certification in Epic applications and any new certifications must be obtained within 3 months of hire.
Four (4) years of experience implementing, configuring, and supporting Epic EHR applications.
Proficiency in system configuration, customization, and optimization within the Epic environment.
Strong understanding of hospital business operations and workflow within an integrated delivery system.
Strong computer skills including Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
Technical expertise in analysis, process design and workflow, and support of EHR systems.
Ability to independently prioritize work assignments and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

Design, build, test, train, and support the EHR system.
Optimize and configure Epic applications to improve patient care and operational efficiency.
Mentor and guide other analysts to foster professional growth.
