Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Epic EHR Development Lead to direct the design, configuration, development, and optimization of Epic solutions across clinical, operational, and revenue cycle domains. You will lead Epic teams, partner with informatics and clinicians, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and best practices to deliver scalable Epic solutions.

This role requires a proven leadership track record, multiple Epic certifications, and a strong background in clinical workflow optimization and system

Qualifications

• Certified in Ambulatory OR Healthy Planet OR Both.
• 7+ years of Epic EHR experience, including hands-on build and configuration.
• 3+ years in a lead, senior analyst, or supervisory role supporting Epic systems.
• Active Epic certification(s) in one or more Epic modules.
• Strong understanding of healthcare clinical workflows and operations.
• Experience leading complex Epic projects or large-scale implementations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Epic analysts, developers, and configuration teams.
• Define and enforce Epic development standards, build guidelines, and governance.
• Guide Epic integrations (HL7, FHIR, Bridges, Interconnect, APIs) and data exchange.
• Partner with clinical stakeholders to align Epic development with strategy.
• Oversee Epic upgrades, patches, and special updates.
• Translate clinical needs into technical Epic solutions and support go-lives.
