Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Epic EHR Development Lead to direct design, configuration, and optimization of Epic solutions across clinical, operational, and revenue cycle domains. You will partner with clinicians, informatics, IT leadership, and vendors to deliver scalable Epic implementations that improve patient care and workflow efficiency.

The role requires deep Epic EHR experience, leadership skills, and a track record of delivering large-scale projects in healthcare.

Qualifications

Epic EHR experience with hands-on build and configuration.
Active Epic certifications in one or more modules.
7+ years of Epic EHR experience.
3+ years in lead, senior analyst, or supervisory role.
Strong understanding of healthcare clinical workflows.
Excellent communication and leadership.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor Epic analysts, developers, and configuration teams across assigned Epic modules.
Define and enforce Epic development standards, build guidelines, and governance processes.
Oversee Epic application build, configuration, and customization across modules.
Guide Epic integrations (HL7, FHIR, Bridges, Interconnect, APIs) and data exchange.
Support testing strategies including unit testing and UAT; oversee upgrades and patches.
Translate clinical needs into technical Epic solutions; engage with clinicians and business partners.
