Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Epic EHR Development Lead to guide design, configuration, development, and optimization of Epic solutions across clinical, operational, and revenue cycle domains. You will provide technical and functional leadership for Epic app development, integrations, and enhancements while aligning with workflows and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
7+ years of Epic EHR experience, including hands-on build and configuration.
3+ years in a lead, senior analyst, or supervisory role supporting Epic systems.
Active Epic certification(s) in one or more Epic modules.
Strong understanding of healthcare clinical workflows and operations.
Experience leading complex Epic projects or large-scale implementations.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor Epic analysts, developers, and configuration teams.
Serve as primary technical and functional escalation point for Epic development issues.
Define Epic development standards, build guidelines, and governance processes.
Partner with Informatics, Clinical Leadership, and IT leadership to align Epic development with organizational strategy.
Contribute to Epic roadmap planning, optimization initiatives, and system upgrades.
Oversee Epic integration, testing, and upgrades.
Translate clinical needs into technical Epic solutions.
Support go-lives, stabilization, and post-implementation optimization.
Monitor system performance, data integrity, and user adoption metrics.
Ensure Epic configurations support patient safety, clinical quality, and reporting requirements.
