Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Epic EHR Development Lead to steer design, configuration and optimization of Epic solutions across clinical, operational, and revenue cycle domains.

This role provides technical and functional leadership for Epic development and integrations while aligning with clinical workflows and regulatory requirements, delivering scalable Epic solutions that improve patient care and organizational performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field and 7+ years of Epic EHR experience.
• Active Epic certification(s) in one or more Epic modules.
• Experience leading Epic projects or large-scale implementations.
• Strong understanding of healthcare clinical workflows and operations.
• Experience presenting and problem solving with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Epic analysts, developers, and configuration teams across assigned Epic modules.
• Define and enforce Epic development standards, build guidelines, and governance processes.
• Partner with Informatics, Clinical Leadership, and IT leadership to align Epic development with organizational strategy.
• Oversee Epic application build, configuration, and customization across modules (e.g., ClinDoc, Orders, Cadence, Prelude, etc.).
• Guide development and support of Epic integrations (HL7, FHIR, Bridges, Interconnect, APIs).
• Translate clinical and operational needs into technical Epic solutions; facilitate design sessions with clinicians.
