Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IS, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, or related field
7+ years of Epic EHR experience with hands-on build and configuration
3+ years in a lead/supervisory role supporting Epic systems
Active Epic certification(s) in one or more Epic modules
Strong understanding of healthcare clinical workflows and operations
Experience leading complex Epic projects or large-scale implementations
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

Lead Epic analysts, developers, and configuration teams across assigned modules
Serve as primary escalation point for Epic development issues
Define and enforce Epic development standards, guidelines, and governance
Align Epic development with organizational strategy with clinical leadership
Contribute to Epic roadmap planning, optimization, and upgrades
Oversee Epic integrations (HL7, FHIR, Bridges, Interconnect, APIs) and data exchange
Guide testing strategies including unit, integrated, and UAT
Support go-lives, stabilization, and post-implementation optimization
