Job summary

University Health is seeking an advanced Epic Credentialed Trainer to lead training quality, refine curricula, and support operational improvements in a healthcare setting. This role mentors CT I staff, collaborates with Principal Trainers, and helps implement new Epic enhancements.

In-person and telecommunication support is provided across departments. The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, IT-related degree, and Epic Advancement Program CT III completion, with strong adult learning

Qualifications

• Must have current, active registered nurse license.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or other work related field is preferred.
• Experience in Epic application systems and general training in a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles is essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
• A minimum of two years of experience as a Credentialed Trainer I and successful completion of all requirements of the Epic Advancement Program for CT III are required.

Responsibilities

• Advances as Epic Credentialed Trainer with higher responsibility for training quality and curriculum refinement.
• Provides in person support, mentors CT I staff, and collaborates with Principal Trainers to improve materials and workflows.
• Facilitates department-specific sessions and participates in planning and implementing enhancements or upgrades.
