Job summary

Qualifications

• Five+ years of pro fee coding experience.
• Minimum three years within the assigned specialty service line.
• CPC or CCS-P credential is required.
• Experience with E/M coding in the specialty is preferred.
• Experience using Epic and Resolute systems is expected.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and resolve coding edits in Epic WQs and work queues.
• Review documentation and assign CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 codes and modifiers.
• Communicate coding/denial trends to coding leadership.
• Provide education/training for providers and coders.
• Conduct quality assurance audits within the specialty team.
• Ensure compliance with coding regulations and guidelines.
