Intermountain Health in Utah seeks a skilled medical coder to accurately assign CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10 codes and modifiers within Epic WQs and related work queues. You will review medical records, ensure proper coding and stay updated on bundling guidelines and Medicare schedules.

Requires five years of professional fee coding experience, CPC/CCS-P certification, and Epic/Biller experience. This role emphasizes education for providers, QA audits, and adherence to coding guidelines within a specialty

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum five years of professional fee coding experience with at least three years in the assigned specialty.
• CPC or CCS-P credential required.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate and resolve coding edits in Epic Work Queues.
• Review documentation and assign CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10 codes and modifiers.
• Maintain compliance with coding regulations and share education with providers.
