Job summary

Aurora Health Care is seeking an Epic applications analyst to identify, map, analyze and improve clinical and business processes across Epic modules, applying best practices and process reengineering. You will translate user needs into actionable functional and technical designs, perform configuration, design tests, and support upgrades while maintaining detailed documentation and training materials.

The role supports remote work within eligible states and requires Epic certification within six

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent knowledge) in Computer Science or related field.
  • EPIC certification within 6 months and ongoing education requirements.
  • Typically 3 years in IT or clinical environment with mapping, analysis, requirements, testing and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, map, measure, analyze and improve Epic processes for assigned modules.
  • Prepare documentation for business requirements using diagrams and data models.
  • Translate user requirements into functional and technical design specifications.
  • Perform system configuration to meet business requirements.
  • Develop test plans and execute tests from unit to end-user acceptance.
  • Provide client training and develop training materials.
  • Monitor system functionality and apply changes as needed.
  • Explain application functionality to users and assist with usage.
  • Maintain product documentation and change controls.
