Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking an IT Specialty Analyst – Epic ClinDoc to support Epic Inpatient ClinDoc and related clinical applications. You will analyze workflows, participate in builds, upgrades, testing, and incident/change management to improve patient care and operational efficiency.

The role requires Epic Certification with preference for EpicCare Inpatient ClinDoc and Epic Phoenix; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with 3+ years’ experience (or 5+ years without a degree).

Qualifications

• Experience with Epic Inpatient ClinDoc and/or Epic Phoenix workflows and configuration.
• Experience in application builds, upgrades, testing, and enhancements in healthcare.
• Ability to analyze workflows and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Experience with incident, problem and change management processes.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day Epic ClinDoc systems and related clinical applications.
• Analyze workflows and implement improvements to clinical processes.
• Participate in builds, upgrades, testing, and system enhancements.
• Coordinate updates and releases; provide on-call support as needed.
