Job summary

Hartford HealthCare in Farmington, CT is seeking an ITS Application Analyst I (EPIC Cadence/Referrals) to design, configure, test, and support the Epic Grand Cadence and Referrals modules. You will develop in-depth knowledge of application functionality and how workflows map to system configurations.

The role requires collaboration with Revenue Cycle Systems, vendors, and care teams; adherence to change control, testing, and documentation; and providing on-call support and go-live assistance.

Qualifications

• Epic Application or healthcare IT experience preferred.
• MS Office is required.
• Epic Certifications/Proficiencies in Cadence/Prelude/Referrals preferred.
• Associates degree or equivalent knowledge and skills in a Healthcare environment required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business or Clinical area preferred.
• At least 5 years relevant experience in healthcare environment strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of Patient Registration, Scheduling, Referrals, Authorizations, Insurance Verification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Weekly meetings and collaboration on Revenue Cycle projects.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and support for listed Epic Applications.
• Troubleshoot, research, and resolve technical issues and customer inquiries.
• Test and verify software releases, upgrades and changes before production.
• Maintain knowledge of technology through continuing education and seminars.
• Participate in new implementation/install projects.
• Help maintain application security and data/work queues.
• Document system design, build, and configuration details.
• Support end users during go-live and after-hours activities.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve incidents.

Education

Associates degree or equivalent knowledge and skills in Healthcare

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field
