Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health care information technology or related area, or equivalent combo.
• 1–2 years relevant work experience.
• Working knowledge of clinical applications systems and testing.
• Ability to diagnose problems and offer multiple resolutions.
• Strong customer-service and collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented with solid organizational and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication to convey technical info.
• Familiarity with documentation and reporting processes.
• Ability to work with senior staff as a technical resource.

Responsibilities

• Designs, debugs and evaluates moderately complex clinical software/hardware/OS.
• Contributes to projects analyzing clinical workflows and solutions.
• Collaborates with users to implement releases and upgrades; defines scope/requirements.
• Participates in new projects including analysis, coding, testing and coordination.
• Supports user training and develops training tools.
• Troubleshoots and documents moderately complex issues; performs root cause analyses.
• Compiles concise documentation of requests and confirms scope.
