Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center is seeking a Certified Epic Beaker System Analyst with expertise in Beaker CP and strong knowledge of LIS and clinical workflows to lead design, build, testing, upgrades, and optimization of Epic Beaker applications. You will partner with vendors and clinical stakeholders to deliver certified, scalable solutions aligned with regulatory requirements.

The role requires Beaker CP certification, Beaker AP preferred, and Data Innovations certification or equivalent

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Beaker Clinical Pathology (CP) certification required.
• Beaker Anatomic Pathology (AP) certification preferred.
• Data Innovations certification or prior experience required.
• 3+ years of Beaker build experience.
• Clinical Laboratory experience preferred (1 year).
• Content Management / Data Courier experience preferred.
• Cogito certification preferred.
• Order Transmittal certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases (design, build, testing) of Beaker-related projects, including upgrades and workflow integrations.
• Provide Beaker module expertise (Beaker CP, Beaker AP) for design, build, and testing.
• Analyze system capabilities and define data outputs, input data acquisition, and reporting structures.
• Maintain applications through collaboration with vendors and tech teams.
• Test and troubleshoot existing and proposed systems; identify and resolve issues.
• Lead data management and process-improvement activities for assigned applications.
