Job summary

ChristianaCare is hiring a Beaker AP Analyst to support design, build, testing, and optimization of the Beaker AP module within our Epic environment. The role includes training end-users, documenting processes, and implementing enhancements for efficient pathology workflows.

You will work in a hybrid setup, with on-site requirements and the need to stay within commutable distance. Epic Beaker AP certification is preferred, and experience in anatomic pathology is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Healthcare Admin, Health Informatics or related field preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience with Epic systems or similar EHR required.
• Beaker AP certification preferred; working experience in Anatomic Pathology lab required.
• Epic Beaker AP Certification preferred; willingness to become certified if not already.

Responsibilities

• Lead build and configuration of the Beaker AP module to meet clinical needs.
• Collaborate with pathologists, lab techs, and admins to gather requirements.
• Customize Beaker AP to align with clinical and operational requirements.
• Perform workflow analysis and process mapping for seamless integration.
• Provide ongoing support and post-implementation troubleshooting.
• Develop training materials and deliver end-user training.

Education

Bachelor's degree or higher (preferred)

High School diploma with 5 years related experience
