Job summary

Emory Healthcare seeks an Epic Analyst 2 focused on Beacon and Ambulatory modules to support Epic Beacon workflows across our system, with an emphasis on oncology and infusion projects. The role includes design, testing, validation, and ongoing maintenance of Epic Beacon workflows and related processes.

Must hold Epic Beacon and EpicCare Ambulatory certifications; Epic Prelude and Cadence certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related experience.
Minimum 3 years in clinical, business, or healthcare operational areas (5 years if no degree).
Epic certification for area of responsibility within 90 days of training if not already obtained.
Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work with senior staff and coordinate smaller projects independently.

Responsibilities

Provide continuous support across Beacon and Ambulatory workflows.
Design, build, test, validate, maintain, and support Epic Beacon and related workflows.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and educators across departments.
Represent Emory Digital and maintain positive relationships with Epic partners and users.
Mentor other analysts and develop advanced knowledge of system capabilities.
Participate in routine meetings to identify and prioritize user needs.
