Job summary

Emory Healthcare is seeking an Epic Analyst 2 focused on Beacon and Ambulatory modules to support the Beacon workflows, oncology and infusion projects, and ongoing production needs.

The role requires Epic Beacon and Ambulatory certifications, experience leading complex Epic implementations, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. A Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years of healthcare operations experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field.
• 3 years of progressive experience in clinical, business, or other healthcare operational areas or 5 years with no degree.
• Epic certification within the first 90 days of training or hire.
• Working knowledge and subject matter expertise in assigned operational department areas.
• Strong verbal and written communication, organizational, problem-solving, analytical, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Work across Beacon and Ambulatory workflows providing continuous support of both modules.
• Responsible for the design, build, testing, validation, maintenance and ongoing support of Epic Beacon and related workflows.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary workgroups to meet goals as a team.
• Represents the Emory Digital team and maintains positive relationships with co-workers, clinical and financial departments, Epic partners, and users of the Epic suite.
• Monitors and mentors other analysts in methods and processes and implementation of those methods.
• Develops advanced knowledge of system capabilities, applications, and processes to educate and support users.
• Participates in routine meetings to identify, document, and prioritize needs.
