Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an Epic Training Specialist to support Baptist Health Medical Group sites, ensuring clinicians and staff become proficient with Epic apps and workflows. This role aligns system design with clinical processes and mentors junior analysts.

The position requires onsite training, data collection, testing, and deployment participation while upholding HIPAA and MIPS in ambulatory care settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or clinical degree or 2 years healthcare ambulatory experience.
• Epic credentialing in all applications used: EpicCare Ambulatory, Beacon, ASAP for UC, Cadence, Referrals, ADT for UC, Beaker, OnBase.
• Onsite in Baptist Health region; must be onsite for training.
• Experience in adult learning training; physician practice experience preferred.
• HIPAA and MIPS compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide Epic and other third-party application training.
• Integrate information technology in the healthcare setting.
• Serve as liaison between IT and operations.
• Align system design with operational processes for Baptist Health Medical Group and Epic Community Connect sites.
• Ensure users are proficient in Epic applications to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
• Perform data collection, workflow analysis, testing, training, system user personalization, and ongoing support.
• Troubleshoot user issues and optimize system performance.
• Participate in application deployment and procedure documentation.
• Ensure software build meets organizational goals and external mandates such as HIPAA and MIPS (Promoting Interoperability).
• Mentor Associate and Intermediate level analysts toward credentialing goals.
