Job summary

The Epic Application Analyst at Baptist Health Care will design, configure, implement, support, and optimize Epic technical infrastructure across EHR domains. You will partner with Epic teams, security, DBAs, and vendors to ensure stability, security, and interoperability in clinical, financial, and operational areas.

Qualifications

• 3 years of healthcare IT or related experience.
• 1 year supporting enterprise applications/healthcare tech.
• 1 year working with system integrations/interfaces.
• 1 year Epic implementations/upgrades/optimizations (preferred).
• 1 year Windows Server administration, virtualization, networking, cloud, databases (preferred).
• 1 year monitoring/logging/automation/performance tools (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, health informatics, information systems, IT or related field (or 4 years of experience).
• Epic certification in one or more technical applications or ability to attain certification within timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Configures, maintains, monitors Epic apps and infrastructure components.
• Supports Epic interfaces, HL7, FHIR, and API integrations.
• Investigates and resolves complex Epic performance issues and incidents.
• Maintains Epic security and access controls, and supports disaster recovery planning.
• Assists with go-live readiness, upgrades, and environment planning.
