Job summary

OrthoCarolina is seeking an EPIC Applications Analyst to join our EPIC team. This mid-level role focuses on build, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of Epic modules to support clinical and business operations.

Role is hybrid or remote and requires collaboration with stakeholders to ensure Epic aligns with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of Epic experience, with exposure to EHR systems and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School diploma and 1–2 years’ work experience in healthcare IT, clinical informatics, or related field.
• Exposure to Epic or other EHR systems is preferred.
• Certifications in assigned module(s) are preferred or required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates documented resolutions and analyzes trends to prevent future problems.
• Designs/builds an application system aligned with user needs and organizational requirements.
• Collaborates with clinical, operational, and IT teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and develop solutions.
• Provides support for testing and upgrading technology as needed.
• Identifies and learns the technology used by the organization.
• Documents problem-solving processes for staff and includes FAQs where appropriate.
