Job summary

OrthoCarolina is seeking an EPIC Applications Analyst in Charlotte to join the Epic team. The role focuses on building, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing Epic modules to support clinical and business operations.

This mid-level position collaborates with stakeholders and other analysts to ensure regulatory alignment and quality solutions. The position offers hybrid or remote work options and a comprehensive benefits package including holidays, wellness programs, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Healthcare IT, clinical informatics, or related field experience preferred.
• Epic or other EHR systems experience preferred.
• Certifications in assigned module(s) preferred or required within 6 months of hire.
• 1-2 years’ work experience in healthcare IT.
• High School diploma is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates documented resolutions and analyzes trends to prevent future problems.
• Designs/builds application systems appropriate for users’ needs and organizational goals.
• Collaborates with clinical, operational, and IT teams to gather requirements and troubleshoot issues.
• Provides support for testing of new and upgrading of existing technology.
• Identifies and learns required technology used by the organization.
• Prioritizes and escalates technical problems to IT management.
• Second administrative support for technology used within the organization.
• Documents problem-solving process for staff, including FAQs.
• Applies diagnostic utilities to aid in troubleshooting.
• Performs hands-on fixes as required.
