Job summary

Bearing the Epic Applications Analyst role at Xtensys, you will support Epic applications, coordinate builds, upgrades, testing, and training, while partnering with clinical, operational, and IT teams to deliver reliable, efficient solutions.

You will translate user needs into technical specs, drive project plans, and contribute to continuous improvement of workflows and system performance. Travel up to 25% is possible, with a remote work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; related experience may be considered.
• Active Epic ASAP certification required.
• Care Everywhere certification preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in technology or healthcare roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide system-level support for Epic applications including installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Support application builds, upgrades, implementations, testing, and validation to maintain functionality and stability.
• Investigate and resolve application issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Translate business/clinical/financial requirements into technical solutions across teams.
• Collaborate with clinical, operational, financial, IT, and other teams to resolve issues and improve workflows.
• Provide end-user training and support and promote application proficiency.
• Lead and participate in project planning, establish goals, milestones, and work plans to meet timelines.
• Communicate project status, risks, and changes to stakeholders; escalate issues as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve application functionality and processes.
• Participate in on-call rotation as required.
