Job summary

Lake Charles Memorial Hospital is seeking an Epic Application System Analyst II to support and configure Epic and related applications. The role involves troubleshooting, design, deployment, and training to optimize workflows and data integrity within the health system's IT environment.

The position reports to the Information Systems Executive Director Applications and collaborates with IT teams and vendors to resolve issues and document outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in computer science, information systems, business administration, or related field.
• Associate degree required in computer science, information systems, business administration, or related field OR three or more years of relevant Healthcare IT experience OR three-years working as an Epic Certified Analyst OR five years of experience in healthcare operations.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates vision, solution design, standards guidance, project scoping, IS strategy integration and implementation of technology and applications systems.
• Evaluates technology, analyzes workflow/data flow, and designs efficient and logical Epic and related application systems.
• Provides technical and end-user support for assigned applications.
• Communicates ideas clearly in written and verbal form and prepares professional business correspondence.
• Establishes productive relationships with customers and vendors and collaborates with IT teams to address issues.
• Acts as an Epic Credentialed Trainer and uses project management processes to ensure timely delivery.
• Ensures security, integrity, and privacy of health data per policies.
