Job summary

UMC Health System is seeking an IT Application Analyst-Associate to support Epic and third-party applications across supported departments. The role involves implementing, maintaining, and optimizing applications, partnering with IT teams, leadership, and end users to deliver integrated solutions that meet business needs.

Epic knowledge and collaboration across vendors are essential. The candidate will design, test, and validate workflows, document testing progress, and ensure data integrity

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in IT, healthcare, EHR development, and/or implementation.
• Epic EHR experience preferred.
• Knowledge of standard practices in application support functions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test Epic and 3rd party applications for implementation and ongoing support.
• Perform comprehensive testing including documentation and issue resolution.
• Facilitate workflow design and validation with end users.
• Assess and document workflows by interviewing/shadowing users.
• Identify areas for improvement and optimize workflows for existing applications.
• Follow change control processes to manage installation of application changes.
• Coordinate incident handling and escalation to resolve issues.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to junior team members.
