Job summary

Lake Charles Memorial Hospital is seeking an Epic Application System Analyst I to support and configure Epic and third-party applications. The role includes troubleshooting, user education, and collaboration with IT teams to optimize workflows and ensure system integrity.

The position reports to the IS Executive Director Applications and requires healthcare IT exposure, a related degree, and applicable state certification or credentials. Pharmacy/Nurse/Pharmacist backgrounds are valued.

Qualifications

1 year of experience in Healthcare with IT experience preferred.
A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
An associates degree is required or successful completion of a relevant on-the-job training program with active state certification.
Must be a Pharmacy Technician, Nurse, or Pharmacist.

Responsibilities

Plans and coordinates the build of assigned information system(s).
Develops and implements education plans for super users and staff; assists with staff training.
Proactively implements upgrades, including testing and staff education.
Provides technical and end-user support for the assigned application(s) under supervision.
