Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an IT Development Senior Manager to lead Epic application development, coordinating with vendors and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable healthcare solutions. You will guide budgets, standards, and career development while ensuring quality and safety in a fast-paced environment.

You will mentor staff, drive project governance, and align clinical and IT stakeholders to deliver scalable Epic-based improvements that support patient care across the health system.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of related experience.
• Two or more Epic Certifications: Ambulatory with Healthy Planet or Healthy Planet with Beacon/Willow/Prelude/Cadence/Resolute/Beaker etc.

Responsibilities

• Create and fulfill EHR use cases, identify business and functional requirements and translate them into technical specs.
• Lead documentation efforts for discovery and implementation.
• Ensure requirements and future state workflows are clearly defined.
• Work with Project Managers to identify tasks and estimates.
• Support execution of vendor upgrades, system changes and environment maintenance procedures.
• Analyze current state processes with clinical business and reporting users to create future state processes.
• Identify and document process and data gaps.
• Create and complete project deliverables: Use Cases, Business requirements, Technical specs, Scope documents, Gap analysis, Impact assessment, Test scripts.
