Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an IT Development Senior Manager to lead Epic implementations and drive project planning, governance, and vendor collaboration in a fast-paced healthcare IT environment.

You will guide discovery, document technical specifications, and ensure clear future-state workflows while coordinating matrix teams across providers, PMs, SMEs, and vendor staff. Strong Epic configuration and ambulatory know-how are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of related experience.
• Two or more Epic Certifications: Ambulatory with Healthy Planet or related Epic Certifications.

Responsibilities

• Create and fulfill EHR use cases, identify business and functional requirements and translate to technical specifications.
• Lead documentation efforts for discovery and implementation.
• Ensure requirements and future state workflows are clearly defined.
• Work with Project Managers to identify tasks and estimates.
• Support vendor upgrades, system changes and environment maintenance procedures.
• Participate in analysis of current state processes and collaborate with clinical users to create future state processes.
• Identify and document process and data gaps.
• Create and complete project deliverables: Use Cases, Business requirements, Technical specs, Scope documents, Gap analysis, Impact assessment, Test scripts.
