Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an EPC Project Manager to oversee utility-scale solar projects, including planning, budgeting, buyout, controls, scheduling and risk management. The role is based full-time on a Newbern, AL jobsite with substantial travel.

You will lead self-performed work with large crews, coordinate with superintendent, ensure safety, manage billings, change orders, subcontracts, and maintain cost forecasts and completion estimates while mentoring project teams.

Qualifications

• Engineering, Construction Management, or Architectural Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Field construction management experience (5-8 years) including supervisory skills.
• Leadership to manage remote cross-functional teams.
• Strong computer skills with MS Office and Bluebeam Revu; CMiC experience a plus.
• Fundamental knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
• Understanding of scheduling, cost control, procurement and estimating; travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and manage self-performed scopes with large labor crews.
• Develop safety plans and implement safety procedures.
• Oversee project billings and maximize cash flow through strategic billing.
• Present and negotiate change orders with owner.
• Negotiate subcontract and material purchases.
• Maintain schedule and cost forecasting.
