Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an EPC Project Manager for utility-scale solar projects, based on a Plymouth, NC site. The role requires leadership of large labor crews, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management, with extensive collaboration with Owners, Subcontractors, and Architects.

Travel to remote sites is expected, and supervision of self-performed work is key. The position is full-time on-site in Plymouth, NC, with duties spanning pre-construction through project close-out, to ensure safety,

Qualifications

• Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Field construction management experience (5-8 years, including supervisory skills).
• Strong computer skills including MS Office; Bluebeam Revu; CMiC is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and take responsibility for significant scopes of self-performed work with large labor crews.
• Develop safety plans and implement safety procedures.
• Oversee project billings and optimize cash flow; manage pay cycles.
• Negotiate/coordinate with owners on change orders and subcontract/purchase agreements.
• Maintain project schedule, cost forecasting, and risk mitigation; ensure quality and contract compliance.
