Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an experienced EPC Project Manager to lead utility-scale solar projects from planning through closeout. The role is based full-time on a Plymouth, NC jobsite with substantial travel, and requires coordination with the superintendent, subcontractors, and owner teams to optimize schedule, safety, and cash flow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture preferred.
• 5–8 years field construction management experience with supervisory duties.
• Proven leadership to guide diverse teams in remote environments.
• Strong skills in scheduling, cost control and project accounting.
• Knowledge of PV plant construction and interconnection processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage self-performed scopes, large labor crews, and productivity.
• Develop safety plans and enforce safety procedures on site.
• Oversee billings to optimize cash flow and manage receivables.
• Present and negotiate change orders with owners.
• Negotiate subcontract and material purchases; manage buyout.
• Keep project on schedule and ensure timely deliveries.
• Produce cost forecasts and cost-to-complete reporting.
• Mentor project team and ensure contract compliance.
• Coordinate with Owner/Architect/Subcontractors; manage risks.
