Job summary

Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals is hiring an EP Lab Tech for a full-time day shift, Monday through Friday, typically 6:30am to 5:00pm. No on-call duties are required.

You will provide technical assistance for diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures, including supply, equipment operation, monitoring, imaging and device handling. The ideal candidate holds RCIS/RCES/ARRT certification or has 3 years of Cath Lab/EP experience, plus current BLS and ACLS within 1 year of hire.

Qualifications

• RCIS/RCES/ARRT certification or 3 years Cath Lab/EP experience
• CVT Tech
• Allied Health Degree
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• ACLS certification within 1 year of hire or transfer

Responsibilities

• Use hemodynamic and ECG monitoring and interpret data.
• Scrub assist for diagnostic and electrophysiology procedures including preparation of supplies, sterile field, and heart catheter handling.
• Inject contrast media and medications under physician direction.
• Document procedures and patient information per hospital policy.
• Coordinate procedure schedules as assigned and assist with inventory control.
• Support the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
• Other duties as assigned

Education

RCIS/RCES/ARRT certifications

CVT Tech

Allied Health Degree
