Job summary

Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals seeks a dedicated EP Lab Tech to join our team. This full-time day shift role involves 10-hour days, typically 6:30am to 5:00pm, with no on-call required.

You will assist with diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures, including device preparation, monitoring and imaging, while supporting the hospital’s mission and patient care standards. You will coordinate supplies, maintain sterile fields, manage catheter and device handling, document case

Qualifications

• Must have RCIS, RCES, or ARRRT certification or 3 years Cath Lab/EP experience.
• Current BLS required; ACLS within 1 year of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Use hemodynamic and ECG monitoring, including interpretation of data.
• Scrub assist for diagnostic and electrophysiology procedures; prepare supplies and maintain sterile field.
• Prepare and manipulate cardiac catheters, guide-wires and devices.
• Inject contrast media and medications as directed by physician.
• Document procedures and patient information per hospital policy.
• Coordinate procedure scheduling as assigned.
• Assist with inventory control as directed by supervisor/manager.
