Job summary
Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals in Texas is hiring a Full Time Electrophysiology/EP Lab Technician for day shifts (Monday–Friday, 6:30am–5:00pm) with no on-call requirement. You will support diagnostic and interventional EP procedures, assist with supplies, equipment operation, sterile field maintenance, catheter manipulation, and documentation per hospital policy.
Candidates must hold RCIS/RCES/ARRT certification or 3 years of Cath Lab/EP experience, plus CVT, Allied Health degree, and
Qualifications
- RCIS/RCES/ARRT certification or 3 years Cath Lab/EP experience.
- CVT Tech
- Allied Health Degree
- Current BLS from AHA or Red Cross
- ACLS within 1 year of hire
Responsibilities
- Use hemodynamic and ECG monitoring, including interpretation of data.
- Scrub assist for diagnostic and EP procedures; prep and maintenance of sterile field and equipment.
- Injection of contrast media and medications under physician supervision.
- Documentation of procedures and patient information per policy.
- Coordinate procedure schedule as assigned.
- Assist with inventory control as directed by supervisor/manager.
- Support the mission, vision and values of the organization.
- Other duties as assigned.
