Job summary

Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals is seeking an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Tech for a full-time Day shift, Monday through Friday, with 10-hour shifts (6:30am–5:00pm) and no call required. Responsibilities include patient monitoring, procedural scrub duties, device manipulation, and coordinating schedules in a high-acuity cardiac EP lab environment.

The role requires RCIS/RCES/ARRT certification or 3 years EP experience, allied health degree, BLS, and ACLS within one year of hire.

Qualifications

• RCIS/RCES/ARRT certification or 3 years Cath Lab/EP experience.
• CVT Tech
• Allied Health Degree
• Current BLS
• ACLS within 1 year of hire or transfer

Responsibilities

• Use hemodynamic and ECG monitoring, including interpretation of data.
• Scrub assist for all diagnostic and electrophysiology procedures including preparation of supplies and instruments, maintenance of sterile field, manipulation of cardiac catheters, guide-wires and devices.
• Injection of contrast media and medications from sterile field as directed by the physician
• Documentation of procedures and patient information according to hospital policy.
• Assist to coordinate procedure schedule as assigned
• Assist with inventory control as directed by the supervisor/manager
• Support the mission, vision, and values of the organization
• Other duties as assigned
