Job summary

Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals is seeking an Electrophysiology Lab Tech for a full-time day shift (6:30am–5:00pm) with no on-call requirements. The role involves providing technical support for diagnostic and interventional EP procedures, including equipment operation, monitoring, and catheter manipulation.

You will scrub for EP procedures, manage supplies, and ensure sterile field readiness while coordinating with physicians and staff to maintain patient care standards.

Qualifications

• Certification as RCIS, RCES, or ARRT or 3 years Cath Lab or EP experience
• CVT Tech
• Allied Health Degree
• Current BLS issued by AHA or Red Cross
• ACLS within 1 year of hire/transfer

Responsibilities

• Use hemodynamic and ECG monitoring, including interpretation of data.
• Scrub assist for all diagnostic and EP procedures, including prep of supplies and instruments and sterile field maintenance.
• Injection of contrast media and medications from sterile field under physician supervision.
• Documentation of procedures and patient information per hospital policy.
• Coordinate procedure schedule as assigned and assist inventory control as directed by supervisor/manager.
